“Snowed under” – overworked; exceptionally busy (The Free Dictionary)
It has been snowing a lot lately, and I have been feeling “snowed under” both literally and figuratively. Winter is beautiful and I love my work, but sometimes it is just too much of a good thing. I hope to resume regular posts this weekend. Until then, enjoy a few snow photos.

Oh gosh, I know how you feel. Or felt, if things have balanced out by now. As you can see from how late I am to this post, I’ve been snowed under too, and that’s put me far way behind the blogging times. I love your snowy pictures, especially the snowy steps. 🙂
Robin, thanks for stopping by, especially when I know that you have been “away from” your blog recently. I’m seeing the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, so as the real life snow disappears, so will the rest of my work 🙂
I hear you! I’m in the same spot and I’ve not had time to think about writing either. I’ll look forward to your posts and try to get going on mine too. Hope this finds you feeling a bit less snowed under. 🙂
Thanks, Paula – kindred spirits! And yes, as the snow melted here, some of my work cleared up too. Hope things ease up for you too.
That’s what I missed? Oh my my …. glad I was away for the snow. Hi Lynn.
Oh, it snowed every day or so for a week, very cold, while you were enjoying sunny Tuscany. I’m jealous 🙂 Glad you are back, safe and sound – at least we are not getting the nor’easter blizzard here!
It was cooler there than one may expect, but warmer than here! Fortunately for me, my return trip didn’t have to deal with the nor’easter! (Paris to Cincy)
Beautiful!!!
The walk in the woods is therapeutic, regardless of season 🙂
Ahhhh….Catherine said I’d like this blog, and after reading several posts I do.x
Snowbird, thanks so much for visiting and commenting; happy to have you here! Catherine is a wonderful person, isn’t she?
She certainly is!xx
Quite lovely, especially from afar!
Thanks, tanglycottage. I’m loving exploring your site!
This is my favorite way to enjoy snow! Virtually 🙂
🙂
Maybe it’s better than being ‘rained under’ – just a silly joke and a smiley face 🙂
Diversifolius, you are probably right, though I love the rain, the gardener’s friend. Although snow is referred to as “white mulch” in this area. Thanks for the 🙂
Hang in there, Lynn! Spring will come again–along with Spring Break.
Ah, Spring Break, a mere three weeks away! Thanks, Nancy.
Lovely…but having made it to the doctor for a cortisone shot this afternoon (“No heavy lifting for 24 hours!”) in a messy, wet blizzard and then having gotten stuck and having had to shovel out my little VW Bug…I know what you mean. It’s beautiful from the inside but sometimes not so much on the outside. 🙂 Peace to your week’s end.
Ouch! Winter days seem to turn out that way all too often. Stay safe and warm and enjoy the view from inside, perhaps by a warm fire 🙂
Snow photos are always a treat 🙂
Thanks, Carol; I know you miss the snow. I would be happy to send you some of ours 🙂
